**As of April 17, 2024, the project was awarded to A-1 Excavating in the amount of $2,831,856.00 .** streets/utilities construction project for the Forest Creek Subdivision Project including segments of five City Streets, as follows: Walter Street Wildwood Dr. to Joe St. Joe Street Walter St. to New St. Evelyn Court Maple Bluff Rd. to Regent St. Leonard Street Golla St. to New St. o New Street Evelyn Ct. to Brilowski Rd. Regent Street Evelyn Ct. to Joe St. Golla Rd. 500' West Evelyn Ct. to Brilowski Rd. The Work shall be completed by November 15, 2024 and generally consists of new roadway construction for the development of Forest Creek Subdivision with sanitary sewer, water main, common excavation, landscaping restoration, erosion control, base aggregate, concrete driveways, and asphaltic pavement paving. Following is a list of approximate quantities for some of the main items: 7,560 LF Sanitary Sewer 10,700 Tons Base Aggregate Dense 7,520 LF Water main 45 LF Curb and Gutter 5.5 ACRES Clearing and Grubbing 170 SY Concrete Driveways 7,900 CY Excavation Common 2,810 Tons HMA Pavement No bid shall be considered unless accompanied by a bid bond equal to 5 percent (5%) of the total bid price payable to said City of Stevens Point as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file a contract within ten (10) days after such acceptance. All applicable charter and statutory provisions and ordinances are incorporated into the contract. The successful bidder shall be required to conform to all federal, state, and local safety requirements. The Board of Public Works reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Board of Public Works for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding of the contract. Prequalification of bidders will not be required, but a statement of qualifications shall be provided with the bid .
