2024 High Street Retaining Wall Remediation. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, bid security (10%), qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The Borough of Jim Thorpe hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received. The project consists of the remediation of a stone retaining wall section with varying heights up to 14 feet high x 100 feet long, by soil nail stabilization with a reinforced shotcrete rigid facing located on High Street in the Borough of Jim Thorpe, Carbon County, PA. The extent of the work is described in the Contract Documents, Drawings, and Specifications. When the Bidding Requirements indicate that electronic (digital) copies of the Bidding Documents are available, such documents will be made available to the Bidders as Electronic Documents in the manner specified.
