"2024 Bituminous Paving" on various streets in the Borough of Jim Thorpe, Carbon County 413 Tons +/- of 9.5mm Leveling Course, 90 Ib/sy 825 Tons +/- of 9.5mm Wearing Course, 180 Ib/sy All materials must meet PENNDOT Pub. 408 Specifications and Standards, bidders need to be PEN- NDOT prequaiified. Proposals must be on forms provided by the Borough. For further information contact Brooke Klotz at 570-325-3025, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. PA Prevailing Wages Apply to the "2024 Bituminous Paving" Contract. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Jim Thorpe Borough. All bids shall be valid for 60 days. The successful bidder for the "2024 Bituminous Paving" project will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract. The Borough Council of Jim Thorpe reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interested of the Borough. Any questions regarding the bid documents are to be presented and received by the Municipal Secretary in writing either by mail or e-mail no later than 02/28/2024
