The work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, tools, materials, parts, service, and supervision necessary to properly provide heavy civil maintenance services on a time and materials basis. The Agency has determined that the Contractor shall possess a valid State of California Class A contractor's license in good standing. The total amount of work contemplated by this solicitation will be the sum of all assigned work; scheduled and unscheduled/emergency. The Agency anticipates the resulting time and materials contract to be for five (5) years in an amount not to exceed $2,500,000. The anticipated amount of the contract is based on historical spending patterns. However, as maintenance work is scheduled as needed, there is no guarantee that any or all contract funds will be expended during the life of the contract. Should the Agency award multiple contracts, the anticipated not to exceed amount may be adjusted based on Agency needs. The Agency reserves the right to negotiate and award a contract to the most qualified Proposer(s) as determined by the Agency, to award multiple contracts, to reject any and all Proposals, to waive informalities, and to reject nonconforming, non-responsive, non-responsible, or conditional Proposals.
