Manchester Water Works, acting through its Board of Water Commissioners and in accordance
with the provisions of Manchester NH Code of Ordinances Chapter 39: Procurement Code,
inclusive, seeks bids from qualified firms for upgrades to the Currier Hill Pump Station. Questions from bidders due: March 19, 2024 by Close of Business Questions regarding this request should be expressed in writing and directed to Mr. Michael Pinard
at mpinardsr@manchesternh.gov. The Board of Water Commissioners reserves the right to waive any irregularities, reject any or all
bids, and to accept the bid that appears to be in the best interest of Manchester Water Works.
Failure to submit all information called for may be sufficient grounds for disqualification. Conditional Bids will not be accepted. Any exclusions must be in writing to email
mpinardsr@manchesternh.gov, shall be done so five (5) or more working days before the response due
date, and require approval. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Purchase and installation of one jockey pump and two booster pumps and their corresponding
VFD's;
Purchase and installation of a new fire pump and associated motor starter;
Modification of the existing suction and discharge headers to accommodate the new pumps;
New suction and discharge valves and check valves
Installation of new VFD's, including all necessary wiring (temporary and permanent), relocation
of the VFD's and all associated controls from the pump skid to the East interior wall of the pump
station;
Any necessary piping modifications. All permanent piping, nuts, bolts, and other hardware shall
be Grade 304 Stainless Steel;
Any necessary modifications to the pump skid to accommodate new pumps, piping, and other
equipment;
Installation of chloramine compatible gaskets, seals and related items All work shall be completed before June 30th, 2024
