The City of Parkersburg is soliciting proposals to select a firm to provide professional management services for the operations of the City Park Pool, Splash Pad, Southwood Pool and Southwood Park Waterslide, and Concession Stands for the 2024 season. The pool season will run from Memorial Day weekend and every weekend until the 2023-2024 Wood County School year is finished for the summer, at which time the pool will be open daily. Daily pool operations will continue until Wood County Schools starts back for the 2024-2025 school year; at which time the pool will be open on weekends through Labor Day weekend Each bid shall contain the full name and address of every person, firm or corporation interested in the same, and if a corporation, the name and address of the President and Secretary. The Purchasing Director reserves the right to reject all bids or parts of bids for any one or more supplies or contractual services included in the proposed contract, when the public interest will be served.
