The purpose of these bids is to establish a contract to provide said services and materials as required by the Meade County Highway Department. Meade County does not guarantee the purchase of any minimum or maximum quantity of material during the term of the contract. All materials shall conform with the South Dakota Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Roads and Bridges 2015 Edition or otherwise approved by the Meade County Highway Superintendent. . Bidders must use bid forms furnished by Meade County. Completed, sealed bids, can be mailed to the same address in a sealed envelope clearly marked Gravel Crushing Bid. The County is requesting a minimum of 60,000 tons of gravel to be crushed and stockpiled in or near Section 4, Township 5N Range 6E. Completion deadline for the project will be December 1, 2024. The Meade County Commissioners reserve the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to waive any irregularities therein, and to accept the Bid that is to the advantage and best interest of Meade County.
