provide the Meade County Highway Department Gravel Aggregate material for a period of one year. The purpose of these bids is to establish a contract to provide said materials as required by the Meade County Highway Department. All bid prices will be legally binding for one year from the awarded date. Meade County does not guarantee the purchase of any minimum or maximum quantity of material during the term of the contract. All materials shall conform with the South Dakota Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Roads and Bridges 2015 Edition or otherwise approved by the Meade County Highway Superintendent. Completed, sealed bids, can be mailed to the same address. A bid bond will not be required. By virtue of statutory authority of SDCL 5-18A-25, preference will be given to materials, products and supplies found or produced within the State of South Dakota. The Meade County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids,to waive any irregularities therein, and to accept the bid that is to the advantage and in the best interest of Meade County.
