The Consultant's services will generally include preliminary engineering, surveying, preparation of plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E) and construction support services for the Citywide Traffic Signal Safety Enhancements Project, CIP No. 50111, HSIPL-5351(045) (Project). The Project consists of improvements at 47 signalized intersections maintained by the City of Pico Rivera. Proposed improvements at the intersections include but are not limited to signal hardware upgrades, pedestrian countdown signal heads and installing advance stop bars. A list and map of the 47 intersections is included in Appendix E. The Project is federally funded through the Federal Highway Safety Improvements Program (HSIP) and must comply with Caltrans Local Assistance Procedures Manual (LAPM). Additional project information can be found in the HSIP Cycle 11 Grant application included in Appendix F. Final 100% Bid Documents are expected to be completed within 6 months after the contract (PSA) has been awarded to the selected Consultant. The following are the proposed scope of services.
