The roof replacement of the Town of Waterford Municipal Building at 415 N. Milwaukee Street in Waterford WI 1. The base proposal shall include the removal and disposal in an approved dumping site of the existing roofing system down to the existing roof deck. The bid shall include the cost of any dumpsters, tipping fees, landfill charges, etc.
2. The base proposal shall include a description of how the sidewalk and parking area will be made safe from falling and standing debris, and how the sidewalk, parking area, and areas of ingress and egress will be void of nails and other damaging debris at all times during and at conclusion of construction.
3. The base proposal shall include cleanup at the conclusion of the work.
4. The base proposal shall include the replacement of damaged roof deck material.
5. The base proposal shall include a single layer of asphalt shingles having a 50-year non-prorated warranty.
6. The proposal shall include an option (Option #1 ) for a steel roofing system, and include information on warranty.
7. The proposal shall include an option (Option #2) for repair or replacement of the aluminum facia and soffit, including all damaged or missing wood structure for attachment of same.
8. Regardless of roofing type (shingles, steel, other) the bid shall include the appropriate underlayment, ice and water barrier, and flashing.
9. The proposal shall include an option (Option #3) for repair or replacement of aluminum rain gutters and downspouts. New or replaced sections of gutters shall be seamless, with all joints properly sealed.
10. Contractor proposal shall include all material literature, warranty information, and any other useful product information
11. Contractor proposal shall include information on its own warranty for workmanship, omissions, etc.
12. Contractor shall clean the site of all construction debris.
