The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish and deliver various sizes of Class III elliptical concrete pipe on an "as needed" basis to various locations in the counties of Augusta, Page, and Rockingham Counties in the Harrisonburg Residency in the Staunton District of the Virginia Department of Transportation, an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia, in accordance with the specifications contained herein during the contract period. The successful Contractor shall furnish and deliver the Class III, elliptical concrete pipe in 8' sections with lifting holes, joint sealant, and epoxy in accordance with the specifications, terms, and conditions contained in this solicitation. Bid price shall include gasket and joint sealant with lube and plugs for the lifting holes. The initial period of the contract shall be for a one (1) year period with the effective date to be determined at the time of award (renewable). Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Rebecca Smith Coburn at Rebecca.Coburn@VDOT.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 5:00 PM EST on February 29, 2024.
