Addendum 1 and Addendum 2 have been issued for this project. The proposed work is officially known as the INTERMEDIATE PUMP STATION IMPROVEMENTS, (Contract No. 2024-01). The work for which bids are to be received generally and briefly consists of the installation of submersible Pumps No. 2 and 3 at the Intermediate Pump Station and associated mechanical, structural, and electrical work. Proposals must be submitted on proposal forms as provided in the Contract Documents. The bid deposit for a proposal shall be made for an amount not less than 10% of the bid amount, in the form of a certified check, a cashier's check, or a bid bond, made payable to the Flagg Creek Water Reclamation District. In addition to the signed and completed proposal and the bid deposit, Bidders must also submit a signed and completed Affidavit on the form included in the Contract documents. Failure to submit these materials may cause the bid to be rejected. All Contracts for the construction of public works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). Not less than the prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Department of Labor or determined by the court on review shall be paid to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this Contract. The successful Bidder to whom the Contract will be awarded shall sign the Contract, furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the TOTAL BID AMOUNT as indicated in the Proposal, and certificates of insurance along with any insurance policies required by the Contract Documents within ten (10) days from the date of the Notice of Award. The amount of the check or bond shall be forfeited to the District if the Bidder neglects or refuses to enter into a Contract or fails to furnish the appropriate Performance and Payment Bond and insurance after his bid has been accepted The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids that are submitted, or to advertise for new bids. The District reserves the right to defer the acceptance of any bid and the execution of a Contract for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days after the date of opening the bids Bid Results: Alternative A : Independent Mechanical Industries, Inc - $600,000.00 Alternative B : Independent Mechanical Industries, Inc - $550,000.00
