Seal coat application shall consist of the first coat by squeegee applicator and second coat shall be sprayed on. Seal coat shall be Mac-Problend Slurry or equivalent. Seal coats must contain a minimum of 1 1/2 percent of hot blended rubberized latex additives. Oil spots must be primed or cleaned to ensure no bleed through occurs after sealing. Hot Pour crack fill should be Crafco-Pls or equivalent (certification is required prior to start of job) All cracks prior to filling must be blown out with an air compressor to ensure it is free of debris. If the temperature falls below 380 degrees F the owner will require all pouring to cease until the temperature has risen Neatly Saw cut OR mill each patch, excavate to stated depth and haul all debris off site. Tack Coat all areas to achieve a firm bond between new and old asphalt. Install bituminous surface course asphalt to within 1 1/2 " of finish grade on areas with a depth greater than 2" and compact thoroughly with roller A Payment Bond will be required from any vendor that submits a total bid proposal in excess of $50,000. The undersigned Bidder agrees to furnish a Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the total contract value prior to execution of the formal service contract, agreement or issuance of an official district purchase order.
