Reference Number 0000343891 Total Project Cost $29,955,500 The City of Monroe is soliciting statements of qualifications and work plans from qualified consultants / vendors (hereafter "Consultant" or "Vendor") for the Monroe West Side Grade Separation and Traffic Safety Improvement Project (hereafter the "Project") that is a recipient of Railroad Crossing Elimination Program grant funds in the amount of $23,964,400. The Project includes construction of a new grade separation with CSX railroad over West Elm Avenue within the City of Monroe, Michigan (hereafter the "City"). The Project will improve roadway traffic flow on the west side of the City, dramatically improve safety response times for emergency vehicles, and improve the safety of non-motorized and vehicular traffic movements by connecting businesses and communities with safe and efficient transportation infrastructure.
