Site work and paving for a civil project in Longwood, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Purpose: It is the intent of the City of Longwood hereinafter referred to as the CITY, to request proposal(s) from qualified construction firms to re-construct the stormwater outfall with a curb inlet and install a new pipe and manhole within the Lake Avenue roadway to reconnect the new outfall to the existing stormwater system. The CITY wishes to contract services related to this project from a firm pre-qualified by the Florida Department of Transportation for the type of work shown in this solicitation. The ultimate goal of the CITY and the contractor should be to administer the contract in a highly professional manner, conducive of a cooperative relationship between the contractor and the CITY, and to complete the work on budget and on time with a minimum inconvenience and maximum safety to the public.
