The City of Morehead has received federal funding for the MUPB Storm Water Drainage Management Project. Professional services may include but are not limited to: feasibility and planning studies, preliminary engineering/architectural report, cost estimate preparation, planning, design, construction administration, inspection, other required engineering services, and administration. Morehead Utility Plant Board recently took over operations of the City of Morehead's storm water system. The existing storm water infrastructure is insufficient to properly manage storm water and creates flooding problems within the City. The following components are included in the project: a Hydrology and Hydraulic study to provide scientific and engineer-based approach to planning, designing, and constructions for flood risk reduction for various locations in the storm water system. City of Morehead reserves the right to reject any and all responses, to waive any technicalities, and to negotiate with the respondent who most nearly meets the project requirements..
