Greater Portland Transit District ('GPM") is soliciting bids for the installation of a video surveillance system with recording with web based or local server storage. The facility is located at 114 Valley Street, Portland, Maine 04102. These services should be efficient and economical, adhere to industry standards and best practices, and utilize the latest available non-proprietary technology. Greater Portland Transit District ("GPM") is soliciting proposals for a security camera system. GPM is seeking the installation of a security camera solution that will protect the assets of the Greater Portland Metro's Administrative office, Bus Garage, Cash counting room and monitor the perimeter of the buildings including parking lots and entrances. Ability for onsite remote access for viewing and playback. GPM receives funding from the Federal Transit Administration and as such is required to follow federal procurement regulations and to require its consultants and contractors to understand and adhere to those requirements. FTA requirements are conditions for this RFP and contract, and are included in the RFP document.
