Reference Number 0000344125 The current Madera County Animal Shelter is in poor conditions and requires multiple repairs and spaces to meet the current operational need of the department. The County is therefore looking at the possibility of doing a tenant improvement project to the existing old Juvenile Hall building located near 1655 E. Olive Avenue, Madera, CA 93638. The existing facility is approx. 11,500 square feet was constructed in the 1960's. The County understands that a major overhaul will be required for all utilities, systems and both interior and exterior improvements will be necessary to comply with current federal, state, and local bldg. codes.
