Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Thomasville, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

No Bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for request of bids for a period of 60 days. The Prime Bidder shall be a certified GA Department of Transportation contractor & will furnish all materials, labor, equipment & perform all work required to complete the project. This project includes the following: (1) Concrete bridge deck and pile spall repairs for Martin Luther King Jr. Drive bridge (over CSX railroad). (2) Expansion joint cleaning and replacements at both Martin Luther King Jr. Drive Bridge (over CSX Railroad) and Chatham Drive bridge (over Bruces Branch). Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bid. If awarded the Contract, bidder will submit separate Payment & Performance Bond each for 100% of the Contract amount. Bids must be plainly marked MARTIN LUTHER KING & CHATHAM BRIDGE REHABS & must be delivered before the time specified. The City of Thomasville, GA reserves the right to reject any & all bids, to waive informalities, to re-advertise, &/or to award the contract in the best interest of the City.
