Site work and paving for a road / highway in West Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of March 28, 2024 this project was awarded to UCM Inc with the awarded amount of $76,667.08. All bidders must comply with the Responsible Bidder Ordinance of the City found in City Code Section 1-10-1. The proposed bids will be accepted for the following maintenance work within the City of West Peoria: Various streets to receive an A-1 Bituminous Surface Treatment and Fog Seal. The bituminous material will be CRSP; the sealcoat aggregate will be CA-16 crushed steel slag and base prep, shaping. Each street will be priced individually The City of West Peoria reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any formality, irregularity, or technicality in any bid if it is deemed by the City Council to be in the best interest of the City of West Peoria. Dated this 26th day of February 2024. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security for 5% of the total bid. This shall be in the form of either a bid bond, a cashier's or certified check, or a money order made payable to the City of West Peoria as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will furnish the appropriate Certificate(s) of Insurance, the appropriate Performance Security and execute the Agreement within the time period specified in the Instructions to Bidders.
