As of June 10, 2024 this project was awarded to R.A. Cullinan & Son wit the awarded amount of $55,966.96. NON-MFT MILLING, SHA-PING, AND RESURFACING ON DOWNS CIRCLE The Proposed improvement is officially known as the Downs Circle Resurfacing project. This project consists of pavement milling and resurfacing and all additional collateral work on Downs Circle. The improvement includes hot-mix asphalt surface removal, bituminous materials tack coat, hot-mix asphalt surface course, traffic control and protection, and all other collateral work required to complete the project according to the plans and specifications. Complete sets of Bidding Documents shall be used in preparing Bids; neither the City nor the Engineer assumes any responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bidding Documents. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Local Public Agency Bid Bond . The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the full amount (100%) of the Contract Price. No Bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the Bids for a period of ninety (90) days after the scheduled time of closing Bids. The City of West Peoria reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and all Bids.
