Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Macungie, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work to be performed under this Contract includes construction of a bike path including, but not limited to, the following: connection to the existing sidewalks, installation of the ADA facilities, installation of a storm sewer pipe, storm inlet, concrete flared end section, rip-rap, curb ramps, earthwork including strip topsoil, cut/fill, the export/import of excess fill, fine grading, replace topsoil and restoration. All work will occur within Lower Macungie Township property and within the Limits of Disturbance as shown on the Contract Drawings, along with provisions for all necessary erosion and sediment controls. Lower Macungie Township will receive sealed bids for its 2024 Hillside School Walking Path. The project includes the Construction of a bike path including but not limited to the following: connection to existing sidewalks installation of ADA facilities, installation of storm sewer cross pipe, associated earthwork, and restoration. All bid must be accompanied by Bid Security made payable to Lower Macungie Township, in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid price in the form of a certified or bank check, or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements stated in the bid documents. Performance Bonds will be required from the successful bidder in the full amount of the annual contract price as started in the bid documents. Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified per PennDOT Pub. 408, Section 102. Lower Macungie Township reserves the right to waive any informality in, and/or to reject, any or all bids.
