2024-0313-11 The Board of Education for Community High School District #154, Marengo, Illinois, will accept bids for Concrete Repair/ Replacement. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or waive any technicalities of the bid process. The bids for the Concrete Grinding/Replacement/Installation work will require a minimum 6" thick concrete that is 6-bag mix 4000 psi at 28 days. It will also need to be reinforced with 6' x 6' #10 gauge. This will be finalized at the pre-bid meeting. There are options for the bid that allow the Contractor to bid the entire project, or various breakout sections as identified in the "Campus Maps and Logistics" at the end of this document. Grinding areas are identified in red and numbered #1, 6, 7, 9, 10 and 11. Concrete replacement ares are identified in blue and numbered #2, 3, 4, and 8. Concrete installation areas are identified in yellow and numbered #5, 12 and 13. All measurements are approximate. All flat work will need to be reinforced with 6' x 6' #10 gauge mesh. Flat work thickness is to be no less than current thickness if exceeding 6". Any concrete poured adjacent to existing concrete must be pinned. There are 4 storm drains that need repair or replacement throughout the bid in which the Owners would recommend a projected allowance. Curb cross section should be no less than current dimensions.
