Site work for a civil project in Charleston, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

As of June 26, 2024, project was awarded to SJ Hamill Construction, LLC in the amount of $19,624,664.12. The Work, located in the William E. Enston Homes green space adjacent to Huger St, will include the construction of a new stormwater pump station facility including all components related to the electrical building, wet well, valve vaults, pumps, electrical, HVAC, and other items associated with a new stormwater pump station. The Work also includes the installation/tie-in to existing stormwater drainage outfall and surface collection infrastructure, installation of Low Impact Development measures and other landscaping, minor utility work necessary to construct the project, as-built survey and record drawings, site security and traffic control, as shown in the Drawings. All project information, including any addenda, is available at this website Contractor Qualifications: The City of Charleston received Statements of Qualifications for the King Street Pump Station Project on November 8, 2023 and has pre-qualified all contractors eligible to submit a bid for this project. The Contractors selected to submit a Bid for this Project are: Crowder Construction, Don Moorhead Construction, Kiewit Infrastructure South, Ruby-Collins, SJ Hamill, and Triad Engineering & Contracting. Bids from Contractors not included on this list will not be accepted. Additionally, Charleston Water System (CWS) requires the use of a CWS qualified contractor to perform work on all CWS-owned utilities. Project Funding: This project is being funded in whole or in part by the South Carolina Infrastructure Investment Program (SCIIP), which is administered by the South Carolina Rural Infrastructure Authority (RIA) and funded by federal State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). All federal SLFRF requirements and SCIIP requirements will apply to the contract. All contractors and subcontractors are required to be registered in the federal System for Award Management (SAM) and may not be debarred from doing business with the federal government. Respondents on this work will be required to comply with all applicable federal regulations. combined 20% for minority and women-owned business enterprise participation. substantial completion within 540 consecutive calendar days and to fully complete the project within 630 consecutive calendar days thereafter.
