The purpose of the Cold Milling Class 4 is to remove all existing asphaltic concrete down to the concrete pavement below. The milling depth shall be increased or reduced, as directed by the Engineer. Salvaged material produced on this project is the property of the State but shall be furnished for use on this project at no cost to the Contractor. Any remaining salvaged bituminous material produced from the cold milling operations not used in production of asphaltic concrete on the project shall be stockpiled at a site provided by the State. The State provided stockpile site is located at approximate Reference Post 279.92, on the North side of I-80, as directed by the Engineer.
