Renovation of a mixed-use development in Wayland, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Town of Wayland seeks bids from qualified vendors to provide construction services related to the Wayland Happy Hollow & Claypit School Walk-in Refrigerator / Freezer Site prep project. The work generally consists of the following scope; site and existing vegetation protection, existing building protection, selective building demolition of existing window system, existing interior finishes, existing building systems including mechanical, electrical and plumbing, existing masonry wall section, and existing site to accommodate new concrete slab and footings. Installation of: new one-way concrete slab and footings, including steel reinforcement; new finished wall opening to access new refrigerated box which will be installed under separate contract, new interior paint finishes, rerouting and reinstallation/installation of existing or new electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems, new window and interior sill (Happy Hollow), new through wall fan (Claypit Hill) new masonry infill to match existing in appearance and construction, new "Emseal" colorseal, new diamond plate walking surface, new reglet and flashing @ new refrigerated box and any and all work required to complete the project as detailed in the project drawings and specifications with the exception of installing the refrigerated box.
