Site work for a civil project in Wayland, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a development.
The work generally consists of the chemical cleaning and redevelopment of the Baldwin Pond Well Nos. 1R, 2, and 3; Campbell Well; Chamberlain Well; and the Happy Hollow Well Nos. 1R, 2R, and 3R. The Work also consists of the replacement of the well level sensors at Baldwin Pond Well No. 3 and Happy Hollow Well No. 1R. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount and in the form described in the Instructions to Bidders. A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of 50 percent of the Contract Price, will be required in the form described in the Instructions to Bidders. Bids for this Contract are subject to the provisions of M.G.L. c. 30, Section 39M (MGL C.30, S.39M). No Bidder may withdraw its bid within 30 days (Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays excluded) after the actual date of the opening of the General Bids. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted in writing to the Engineer, Tata & Howard, Inc., attention Molly Caruso at mcaruso@tataandhoward.com Bidder hereby agrees to commence work under this contract on or before an Effective Date fixed in the Notice To Proceed and to Substantially Complete within 90 consecutive calendar days thereafter and to complete the Work in full (Final Completion) within 120 consecutive calendar days thereafter
