This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued by the Village of Waterford (hereinafter referred to as the "Village"). The purpose of this RFP is to establish a contract with a qualified firm to procure and install a pier system on riverfront property owned by the Village off North Jefferson Street. Scope of Work Introduction and Background Information The Village of Waterford owned riverfront parcels on North Jefferson Street are set for installation of a pier system. With the minimal publicly owned river frontage north of the dam, these publicly accessible piers will offer rented boat slip space, transient spaces, and public fishing. Per included plans, the pier system must include ADA features. The pier system must also require minimal maintenance and be suitable to be winterized in the water. Scope of Work For the purposes of this RFP it is essential for the selected company to fulfill the following requirements: 1. Final Measurement and Specifications 2. All respondents should use this written document and its attachments as the sole basis for proposal at this time. If deemed necessary, addenda to the RFP will be issued via email. The Village assumes no responsibility for delays caused by any delivery service. Postmarking by the due date will not substitute for actual proposal receipt by the Village. A Proposer's failure to submit its proposal prior to the deadline will cause the proposal to be rejected. Late proposals or amendments will not be opened or accepted for evaluation. It is the Village's intent to enter into a contract with a firm who best demonstrates the ability to provide material and construction of the requirements described in the scope of work. After review of proposals if the Village decides it is not in the best interest to enter into a contract, the Village will notify all companies.
