Renovation of a municipal facility in Norristown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Project includes a combination of building, electrical and HVAC improvements to the Administration Building at the Norristown Municipal Waste Authority WWTP in Norristown, PA. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Contract No. OR-1: General Construction: The work for this Contract generally includes improvements of components associated with the Administrative Building including access stairways and landings, interior walls, interior and exterior doors, windows ceiling, flooring, bathroom fixtures, building plumbing, and all labor, materials and equipment necessary to furnish and install items as indicated in the Contract Documents. Contract No. OR-2: Electrical Construction: The work for this Contract generally includes selective demolition and replacement of components associated with the Administrative Building including providing new interior and exterior lighting, installation of new receptacle and associated conduit and wiring, replacement of transformer, and all labor, materials and equipment necessary to furnish and install items as indicated in the Contract Documents Contract No. OR-3: Mechanical Construction: The work for this Contract generally includes selective demolition and replacement of components associated with the Administrative Building including exhaust fans, gas fired furnace unit, mini split systems, electric heaters and all labor, materials and equipment necessary to furnish and install items as indicated in the Contract Documents. Questions Due Date: Mar 11th 2024, 4:00 PM EDT Instructions to Bidders. Bid security in the form a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted via PennBID in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Telephone inquiries are unacceptable. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The Owner reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of the Owner and to reject any or all proposals. The estimated cost for each Contract is greater than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply.
