Project awarded to Square Signs LLC dba Front Signs.in the amount of $120,482.20. The project is a SIGNAGE project and includes the following: Re-facing existing metal signs with new graphic; manufacturing and installing new building mounted and fence mounted signs; signs and map monument signs; fabricating and mounting pole mounted banners; and painting on wall and pavement marking This scope of work is estimated to be between $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 and includes the fabrication and installation of: new pole mounted signs, building mounted signs, fence mounted signs, the refacing of existing signs, fabrication of new metal monument and map signs, refacing existing monument signs, banners mounted on existing poles and a limited amount of sign writing and other associated improvements per bidding documents *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The District reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any Bid Proposal or in the bidding. Prevailing Wage Rates. The Contractor and all Subcontractors performing any portion of the Work shall pay not less than the applicable prevailing wage rate for the classification of labor provide by their respective workers in prosecution and execution of the Work. Pursuant to Labor Code 1773, the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of California has determined the generally prevailing rates of wages in the locality in which the Work is to be performed. Copies of these determinations, entitled "PREVAILING WAGE SCALE" are available on the Internet at online. Liquidated Damages. If the Contractor fails to achieve Substantial Completion of the Work within the Contract Time, or fails to achieve a Milestone as set forth in the Special Conditions, including adjustments thereto authorized by the Contract, the Contractor shall be subject to Liquidated Damages in accordance with the Contract Licenses. Contractors are required to have a Class: C-45 license at the time of bid submission. Payment and Performance Bonds. A Labor and Materials Payment Bond and Performance Bond are required in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount. Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by Bid Security in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of the Bid Proposal, inclusive of any additive Bid Alternates. Failure of any Bid Proposal to be accompanied by Bid Security in the form and in the amount required shall render such Bid Proposal to be non-responsive and rejected by the District. . All Pre-Bid Clarifications shall be directed to the location specified in 00 25 15 - Pre Bid Clarification. Each transmitted request shall contain the name of the person and/or firm filing the request, address, telephone and fax number, Specifications and/or Drawing number. Bidder is responsible for the legibility of hand written requests. Pre-bid clarification requests shall be filed no later than March 5, 2024 by Noon. Requests received after the stated date and time shall not be considered or responded to. A written response to timely pre-bid clarifications requests will be made by Addendum issued by Facilities Construction Contracts not less than seventy-two (72) hours prior to bid opening.
