furnishing of Liquid Asphalt for the Ashland County Highway Department's 2024 road program as follows: 30,000 total gallons, more or less, of emulsified asphalt Grade MWS150 10,000 total gallons, more or less, of emulsified asphalt Grade MWS300 290,000 gallons, more or less, of CRS-2P Polymer Emulsified Asphalt Binder 290,000 gallons, more or less, of HFRS-2P Polymer Emulsified Asphalt as an alternate bid The emulsions shall meet Specification 702.07 of the State of Ohio, Department of Transportation Construction and Materials Specification. The polymer emulsified asphalt binder shall meet Specification 702.16 of the State of Ohio, Department of Transportation Construction and Materials Specification. A unit bid and total are required. The quantities listed are approximate and may be purchased in a greater or lesser amount. A bid bond, in an amount of five percent of the total bid shall be submitted. In lieu of a bond, a certified check on a solvent bank will be accepted. Each bid shall contain the full name of each company submitting the bid. Ashland County may reject any or all of the bids on any basis and without disclosure of a reason. The failure to make such a disclosure shall not result in accrual of any right, claim, or cause of action by any unsuccessful bidder against Ashland County.
