The proposed project includes construction of a Water Treatment Plant Maintenance Facility on property owned by the City of Jackson located at 800E. South St. The firm selected shall provide complete A/E design and construction related services through completion of the project construction. The scope of services shall include preliminary site/building layouts, final design, and preparation of construction documents, plan specifications and project oversight for the following: A. Architectural Design B. Civil Engineering C. Structural Engineering for all structural elements for the construction of a pre engineered metal building (rated for future crane installation) D. Mechanical Engineering for office and maintenance areas (HVAC) E. Plumbing F. Electrical Engineering G. Furnishings, Fixtures & Equipment design and specifications H. Landscape Architecture A MANDATORY PREBID MEETING will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024, 10:00 AM, Jackson Water Treatment Plant, 740 E. Mansion St., Jackson, MI 49203. Any questions concerning contract documents or specifications will be addressed at this meeting. This will give companies contemplating submitting a bid a chance to examine the locations of the proposed project and receive interpretations of the contract documents. The City of Jackson is interested in receiving proposals from qualified commercial contractors that possess qualifications to provide complete bidding and project oversight for a full Design/Build Project including Architectural and Engineering (A/E) design and project oversight services for a proposed new Water Treatment Plant Maintenance Facility.
