As of April 16, 2024 this project will rebid but no definite date for the rebid. This project consists of the following outlined below: Opening Window System Summary of Work A. Remove the existing East elevation storefront & wood framed mullion system. Demolition of existing window assembly to occur after the new window assembly is delivered and received on site at the Borough Building (2200 Garden Drive, Seven Fields PA 16046). B. Remove the existing West elevation storefront & wood framed mullion system. Demolition of existing window/door assembly to occur after the new window/door assembly is delivered and received on site at the Borough Building (2200 Garden Drive, Seven Fields, PA 16046). C. Patch and repair the existing masonry opening perimeters for East and West elevation window/window-door openings for sound conditions to accept each new curtainwall system infill. Patch and repair the opening floor slab edge as required. Repair and paint interior finishes asrequired. Thisis applicable for both the East elevation window assembly and West elevation window/door assembly installations. No documents will be distributed without the correct deposit, ordering and bidding requirements. Bids may not qualify any of the specifications. Immediately after the closing time for receipt of bids, all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Borough Building located at 2200 Garden Drive, Suite 100, Seven Fields, Pennsylvania 16046. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty, which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. The form of the guaranty shall be in accordance with the type permitted under the contract documents. No bid guaranty shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with the requirements as set forth in the contract documents or any applicable statutes of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or any applicable municipal ordinances. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Work under this Contract is subject to the requirements of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (1961 August 15, PL 987; P.S. 166) and subsequent amendments. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
