2024 Pavement Rehabilitation Project The Work under this contract includes but is not limited to, rehabilitation of existing roadways by cold plane, removal of approximately 40,000 square yards of existing materials; placement of approximately 8,000 tons of asphalt concrete pavement; curb and sidewalk removal and replacement for compliance with ADA requirements; installation of an enhanced pedestrian crossing, including a RRFB (Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon); illumination; striping; landscaping; and other apparent work. No pre-bid conference is scheduled for this project. Bid security in the amount of 10-percent of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Salem ("City") reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to postpone the award of the contract for thirty (30) days.
