Either an original Certified Check, Official Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond drawn to the order of the "City of Altoona" equal to ten (10%) percent of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal. Note that the Bid Bond must be in effect for a period of sixty (60) days from the bid opening date Mayor and City Council reserve the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality not material to the bid and to award the contract as may be deemed to the best interest of the City of Altoona. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Work performed on this project to be as per current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Publication 408, as amended and revised. SCOPE OF WORK Any horizontal and longitudinal crack 1/4 inch or larger in any of the designated lots, located at: 1. Transportation Center Lot: Adjacent the Altoona Transportation Center on the corner of 13th Street & 10th Avenue. 2. Mishler Lot: Across from the Mishler Theater on the corner of 13th Street & 12th Avenue. 3. 12th Avenue Lot: Across from the Penn Building on the corner of 15th Street & 12th Avenue. 4. 12th Avenue Lot Rear: Between 14th Street & 15th Street and can be accessed from the 12th Avenue alley. 5. City Hall Lots: Lower City Hall on the Corner of 12th Street and 14th Avenue and upper City Hall lot on the corner of 14th Avenue & 13th Street and rear of City Hall (visitor parking).
