Traffic Signal/LED Street Signs/Opticom System Description: The intent of this Invitation to Bid is to solicit pricing for a full Traffic Signal Maintenance Contract, to include all repairs and preventive maintenance required of the traffic signals, master signal control systems, LED Street Signs, and any appurtenances such as the opticom system. This bid is open to all contractors engaged in furnishing contractual maintenance of traffic signals, opticom, and street lighting equipment. All bids must be submitted on the forms provided in a sealed envelope and include all signatures and information identified in the bid specifications. It
is the responsibility of the bidder to ensure bids satisfy the requirements identified in the Bid Documents. The self- addressed label provided with the Bid
Documents must be affixed to the outside of the sealed envelope. If there are any errors or inconsistencies found in the Bid Documents, bidders must notify the Village of Addison of those errors or inconsistencies before
the due date listed above. The Village of Addison reserves the right to waive all technicalities, and to accept and or reject part(s) of any or all bids which it deems advantageous. If you have questions pertaining to this bid you may contact: Ewa Adamow 630-693-7507 purchasing@addison-IL.org Contract Term: The initial term of this contract shall begin on the date of award of the contract up to and including August 31, 2025, subject, however, to the right of the Village to cancel and terminate the same at any time by giving a thirty-day notice in writing to the contractor. In the event of such cancellation, the contractor shall be entitled to receive payment for services and work performed and materials and equipment furnished under the terms of the contract prior to the effective date of such cancellation, but will not be entitled to receive any damages on account of such or any further payment whatsoever. Upon mutual agreement, this contract may be extended for three (3) one year optional extensions, with the first extension running from August 31, 2025 to August 31, 2026; the second extension running from August 31, 2026 to August 31, 2027; the third extension running from August 31, 2027 to August 31, 2028. A one-time economic adjustment for labor, material, and equipment costs shall be allowed for each one- year extension to the contract after the initial one-year contract period. This economic adjustment may not exceed the published local Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the previous twelve-month period. It is understood that the Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities and that the prices contained herein will remain valid for a period of not less than sixty (60) days.
