Rebid Of Law Enforcement Center (LEC) Locker & Wellness Room Remodel The Countys Law Enforcement Center (LEC) needs more changing/showering and personal belonging storage space for staff. This project will provide an expansion of locker room spaces on the second floor of the Countys jail. Additionally it will look to provide additional related renovations by way of bid alternates, which includes the creation of a Wellness Room for staff. Bids must be submitted only on the bid form supplied in this RFB document. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic bids or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond payable to Dakota County in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total base bid. The successful bidder is required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond equal to 100% of the total contract amount. Bids may not be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the opening bids. It is anticipated that the Dakota County Board of Commissioners will consider award of the project on May 14, 2024 at its regular meeting, and reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding. The estimated construction cost is approximately $355,000. The Owner requires Substantial Completion of the project by December 6, 2024. The deadline for bidder questions is April 22, 2024 - end of day Project Start (Anticipated "NTP" with Bonds/Insurances in hand) - May 6th, 2024 Substantial Completion - November 1st, 2024 Final Completion - January 3rd, 2025
