Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in West Sayville, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and 6,135-square-foot golf course.
As of June 12, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. The work consists of the following: New Building addition consisting of site demolition, site reconstruction and existing building alteration - new construction for a single-story masonry and wood frame parks facility. Contract No.1 - General Construction Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total Base Bid, made payable to the Suffolk County Comptroller. This bid bond will be held as a guarantee that in the event the bid is accepted and contract awarded to the Bidder, the contract will be duly executed and properly secured. Any questions regarding this project shall be directed to Kenneth E. Phalen. R.A. at (631) 8524222. The Commissioner of Public Works reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
