The City of Bartow, Florida ("City") is actively seeking a qualified and experienced design-build firm to provide design and construction services for one (1) Outdoor ADA Restroom Facility and Water Fountain at Carver Recreation Center located at 520 Herbert Dixon Blvd., Bartow, FL 33830. These services are wholly funded by Community Development Block Grant (CDBG); therefore, all requirements (Attachment "A") of the federal award are applicable to the Successful Proposer, sub-consultant, and any material suppliers. Proposers are responsible for ensuring that proposal documents are received by the City of Bartow's Purchasing Department located at Polk Street Community Center by the due date and time. The City of Bartow is not responsible for delays caused by any mail, package or courier service, including the United States Postal Service, or any other occurrence or condition. Proposals received after the due date and time will be returned unopened. No oral, telegraphic, electronic, facsimile, or telephonic proposal or modification will be considered. The submitters' proposal must be clearly labeled with the Proposer's legal name, address and telephone number, RFP title and number, and due date. Questions related to interpretation of the scope of services, or the submission process, shall be addressed to Danielle Rose, drose@cityofbartow.net, in writing, in ample time before the period set for the receipt and opening of proposals. Inquiries received prior to 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, will be answered. Any inquiries received after that time will not be answered or given any consideration.
