Description: The City of Bristol is accepting bids for replacement of boiler equipment at Bristol Eastern High School, 632 King Street, Bristol Connecticut. Question Deadline 03/12/2024 at 12:00 PM ET Bidders are advised that the deadline for RFIs/questions Any and all addenda released by the City is expected to be provided to bidders no later than March 14, 2024. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 5 % of the bidders base bid amount, in the form of a Bid Bond made payable to the City of Bristo The awarded contractor will be required to secure a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract award, provided by a surety licensed to do business in the State of Connecticut. All work is expected to be substantially completed no later than September 30, 2024. liquidated damages of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per day or part thereof shall be due to the Owner and subtracted from the unpaid contract amount or bond held by the Owner. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bid, to reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in its judgment is in its best interest.
