Renovation of an educational facility in Yuba City, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Project consists of Provide all labor equipment and non-district supplied materials to complete a replacement of a standing seam metal and a two-ply modified roofing system. The replacement of metal will consist of removing an existing standing seam roofing system and installing a new standing seam roofing system. The flat roof replacement will consist of removal of existing BUR system. The contractor is to provide standing seam metal materials. The owner will provide Garland BUR materials. The contractor is to install. Work Schedule June 9, 2024 through August 1, 2024 Contractor shall possess at the time of its bid, the following classification(s) of Contractors California State license(s): B, C-39 A bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District, cash, or a cashiers check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, shall accompany the Bid Proposal Form, as a guarantee that the Contractor will, within seven (7) calendar days after the Notice to Proceed or other direction, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the Services as stipulated in the bid. In addition, a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond and a one hundred percent (100%) Payment Bond will be required of the successful bidder. DVBE. Section 17076.11 of the Education Code requires school districts using funds allocated pursuant to the State of California School Facility Program for the construction and/or modernization of school building(s) to have a participation goal for disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBE) of at least three percent (3%) per year of the overall dollar amount expended on projects that receive state funding. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed in writing to the District. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the District in response to such questions will be issued in writing by Addenda faxed, mailed, or delivered to all parties recorded by the District as having received the Contract Documents. Questions received less than SEVEN (7) calendar days prior to the date for opening Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Question Deadline 03/12/2024 Project Completion: Five Hundred Dollars [spell Out Liquidated Damage Amount] ($ 500.00 ) [indicate Numerical Amount] Per Day as Liquidated Damages for Each and Every Days Delay Beyond the Contract Time to Complete All the Work Notice to Proceed. District may issue a Notice to Proceed within THREE (3) months from the date of the Notice of Award. The district reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding
