Bids are invited for the removal and replacement of an existing deteriorated corrugated structural steel plate arch culvert with concrete footers and bottom with a new 24' span x 12' rise corrugated structural steel plate arch culvert (no bottom) including poured-in-place concrete footer, installation of aluminum plate head and end walls with wingwalls, removal and reinstallation of existing guiderails, reconstruction of the roadway, site restoration as necessary, and including all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and appurtenant items located at the culvert carrying Miller Road (T-396) over Brandy Run in Girard Township, Erie County, Pennsylvania. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified or cashier's check or bid bond with corporate surety payable to the County of Erie in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid price. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materialmen Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Additionally, the successful bidder will be required to furnish evidence of Worker's Compensation and Liability Insurance in the amount as required by the Contract Documents. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding.
