As of July 9, 2025, this project is under construction. *Previous solicitation listed below for reference:* Construct a New Early College Preparatory Building. Building And will Include Approximately 17academic Classrooms, a Media center, a Food Service Center, administration Offices, and Other Guidance and Support Rooms. dare County Intends to Select A qualified Consultant to Provide architectural and Engineering services in Accordance With north Carolina General Statutes. Dare County Will Be The sole Partnering Entity on This project However, Project Design and Construction Documents shall Be Submitted to the North Carolina Department of Public instruction (Dpi) School Planning Section for Further Review and Approval. Once Dpi Has concluded Its Review, They Will Issue a Certificate of Review. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. This new building will include the construction of a new 25,000 sqft. to 32,000sq ft. building and will include approximately 17academic classrooms, a media center, a food service center, administration offices, and other guidance and support rooms. The new building will be located at 205 South Business Highway 64/264, Manteo, North Carolina, 27954. Dare County reserves the rightto reject any and all proposals in accordance to North CarolinaGeneral Statutes.
