Reference Number 0000367193 The Town of West Springfield, through its Park & Recreation Department, is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the renovation of the Memorial Pool Splash Pad located at 51 Smyrna Street, West Springfield. Question Deadline 11/21/2024 at 4:00 PM ET Questions are submitted online Yes , Any questions concerning this IFB must be sent in writing to Jaime Flores, Procurement Administrator at jflores@tows.org. General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required - Certified Payroll - Insurance Required - Prevailing Wage Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Payment Bond 50 % -- Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond from a licensed surety company, or a Certified check, or a Treasurer's or Cashier's check in the amount of five (5%) percent of the base bid payable to the Town of West Springfield. A Payment bond in the amount of 50% of the Contract Price will be required of the Successful Bidder. The successful bidder will also be required to furnish workmen's compensation insurance and public liability insurance. All work shall be completed by May 30, 2025. A $500/day penalty charge will be assessed if the contractor does not meet the specified final completion date.
