Question Submission Deadline March 21, 2024, 2:00pm Description of Work This contract provides for the improvement of *** Graf Road by removing a fish barrier culvert, constructing a stream bypass, structure excavation, temporary traffic bypass road\bridge, constructing a buried structure (24-ft span by 13-ft high by 45-ft long precast concrete box culvert), anchored large woody debris, streambed mix, planting mitigation, crushed surfacing, HMA, guardrail, temporary traffic control, *** and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory contract bond within the time stated in the contract specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the Lewis County Public Works Department. Informational copies of maps, plans, and specifications are on file for inspection in the office of the County Engineer of Lewis County in Chehalis, Washington.
