The Purpose of This Quick Quote Solicitation is to Procure Sidewalk Inventory and Condition Assessment Services. Arlington County uses Cartegraph Asset Management software to actively manage its water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, retaining wall, guardrail, and street pavement assets (1,058 lane miles). However, the County is not currently using Cartegraph to actively manage and track sidewalk repairs and condition. The County completed a comprehensive sidewalk inventory and condition assessment in 2021 of all sidewalks in the County except those located along VDOT, Federal, and privately owned and maintained streets. This inventory was conducted by a contractor using pathVu technology walking each sidewalk segment in the County. The sidewalk mileage totaled approximately 527.9 miles of sidewalk and there were 10,032 curb ramps. Since the 2021 sidewalk inventory was conducted, the County has resolved over 29,000 half-inch and greater tripping hazards via sidewalk shaving. The County, at its sole discretion, expressly reserves the right to request any additional information from a Bidder that is deemed relevant to this Quick Quote solicitation. All responses will be reviewed for accuracy and each Bidder may be required to provide additional information in support of its statements, credentials and past performance.
