Memphis-Shelby County Schools (MSCS) is accepting bids for the project Trezevant 9th Grade Academy Renovation. Questions or Requests Due : March 15, 2024 @ 11:00 AM All questions or requests for clarification of technical issues and terms pertaining to this bid must be emailed to Stacey Brown BROWNSL3@scsk12.org . Subject line of email shall read "Questions - IFB 03262024SB Trezevant 9th Grade Academy Renovation." All classroom walls, except for those listed in line-item number two below, shall be painted. In classroom 289, only the exterior facing wall shall be painted. Wall painOng includes scraping/sanding where needed, patching where needed, applicaOon of a stain blocking primer and applying two coats of paint. Scrape and sand as needed, prime and apply two coats of paint on all window frames. Include structural beam Paint any radiator heater covers. 2. Classroom walls that will not require painOng include 257, 258, 273, 274, 277, 278 and 288. The north stairwell adjacent to 171 will not require painOng. 3. Regarding classrooms 282, 283, 284, 285, 288, 289 and 290, Contractor shall adhere any exisOng ceiling Oles that are loose or have lost adhesion. Replace any missing ceiling Oles with similar. ExisOng glue shall not be disturbed. The Contractor shall then apply a stain blocking primer and two coats of ceiling paint over the exisOng ceiling Ole system. 4. The contractor shall be responsible for moving of furniture out and back into areas where work is being performed. 5. The contractor shall paint all doors and door frames throughout all 9 th grade academy classrooms, office area 273A, and 276. Include both sides of door and door frames. 6. Replace any missing or damaged ceiling Oles with texture and color matching ceiling Oles throughout all 9 th grade academy classrooms, office area 273A and 276. 7. Replace as needed any missing secOons of wall base cove throughout all 9 th grade academy classrooms, 273A and 276. Adhere any loose or non-adhering wall base cove as needed. 8. Install new window blinds in all all-9th grade academy classrooms, office area 273A and 276. See page 5 for specificaOons. 9. Install clear polycarbonate blanks on the interior side over any non-closing windows. 10. Replace all exisOng electrical switch and receptacle cover plates with new
