The work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to the following: .1 Removal and disposal of existing asphalt within the areas shown on the Contract Drawings. .2 Removal and disposal of existing base material and fill in locations specified on the Contract Drawings, to a depth necessary to meet final grade elevations as shown on the Contract Drawings. .3 Preparation and grading of Subgrade material in excavated areas and of existing base materials in areas shown on Contract Drawings. Preparation of subgrade to be completed in accordance with Contract Documents and Geotechnical Report. .4 Supply and installation of new base and subbase materials in areas shown on Contract Drawings, including all necessary equipment, labour and materials. .5 Supply and installation of Type D-HF asphalt concrete as per Contract Documents, including all necessary equipment, labour and materials. .6 Installation of swales and drainage ditching as per contract documents including all necessary equipment, labour and materials. .7 Removal and disposal of existing concrete sidewalks as per Contract Documents. .8 Supply and installation of new concrete sidewalks as per Contract Documents. .9 Removal and disposal of existing trees as per Contract Documents. .10 Supply and installation of topsoil and hydro seed to areas where asphalt is removed or existing sod is disturbed/damaged. Topsoil and hydro seed to be applied to meet grades specified on Contract Drawings and match into existing grades and edge of asphalt. .11 Supply and installation of new catch basins, catch basin manholes and storm sewer piping as per Contract Documents, including connection of new storm pipe to existing catch basin and storm pipe. .12 Supply and installation of pavement markings as per Contract Documents. .13 Supply and installation of new signage complete with new Telespar posts and necessary hardware as per Contract Documents. .14 Contractor to supply As-Built drawings to NBDTI Buildings Division upon completion of work.
