Renovation of a parking garage in Seatac, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
This project consists of adding a second air compressor system to Mechanical Room 211 on the STS - Utilidor level of Concourse A at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). The purpose of the new system is to provide redundancy and increased capacity for the existing system. The second system will include a new air compressor, air dryer, air receiver tank, housekeeping pads, all new electrical components, feeders, and connection to emergency power. Additional requirements include relocating the existing air dryer to create space for the new dryer, switching the existing system from regular power to emergency, and providing all the necessary equipment, components, and connections to tie the new system into the existing one for a complete installation as shown on the drawings. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to perform the work as requested by the Port of Seattle. The contract will last three hundred sixty five (365) calendar days, from the official contract award date, which is the date the Port of Seattle signs the Agreement. Bond Notes: No bid bond is required. Performance and Payment bonds will be required with the Contract. Each bond shall be in the full amount of the contract sum. Labor and Industries require a "Statement of Intent to Pay Prevailing Wages" and "Affidavit of Wages Paid". The expense of such is the responsibility of the Contractor.
