The City of Chesapeake is soliciting quotations from qualified vendors for the Purchase and Installation of a 5 Ton Gantry style Crane at its Lake Gaston Water Treatment Plant located at 5416 West Military Highway, Chesapeake, VA 23321. The City seeks qualified firms to provide material, installation, testing and certification of a new 5 Ton Gantry-style crane. A. All Crane material should be NEW and equivalent in size, capacity, and options to Yale model CEW5X32TR19D2 Hoist, 5 Ton Capacity22' of lift, 480V 3PH Primary, 120V Control, 2 speed Hoist and Trolley, 60"Gauge, Control Cabinet shipped loose for remote mounting, Geared Upper and Lower Limit Switches with Weighted secondary upper B. Radio Remote Control should be NEW and equivalent to In motion Controls K806 with AA battery energy source C. Crane service to be provided to swap out the existing hoist. This shall be load tested for compliance to 5 Ton specification. D. Labor for installation to swap out hoist, hook up electrically, Load test and certify. E.
